 OVERVIEW | HISTORY | PERSONNEL The Permanent Magnet Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, was founded near the end of World War II. It's founder, Stan Malless, understood that America's manufacturing capabilities would grow rapidly to become the strongest in the world and his engineering specialty, permanent magnets, would be in demand. Mr. Malless lead the company through many evolutions and economic cycles and is still at the helm today. His vision was to keep Permanent Magnet at the apex of leadership in technology, from cast and sintered alnico magnets, to magnets made from obscure rare earth elements. Today, Permanent Magnet is on top of an exclusive group of manufacturers who supply permanent magnets for the world's manufacturing needs. |
